About Chiratae Ventures

Chiratae Ventures (formerly IDG Ventures India) is a Bengaluru-based, technology-focused venture capital firm with an 18+ year history in the Indian startup ecosystem. The firm invests across early to growth stages and has raised dedicated growth-stage vehicles for companies at Series C and beyond, alongside its core early-stage funds. It publishes regular sector research (consumer tech, fintech, SaaS) in partnership with organizations like AWS and Google.

Why Chiratae Ventures?

18+ year operating history under its original name, IDG Ventures India — one of the longest continuous track records among India VCs. Separate dedicated growth fund (₹1,001cr) for follow-on capital into its own winners at Series C+, rather than relying only on syndication with other funds. Dedicated DeepTech fast-track program.
